At Vanishingtattoo.com we're proud to showcase top photographers from around the world with their fascinating and varied interpretations and visions of tattoos and tattoo culture. Each photographer brings with them a unique perspective; in many cases the focus is on the model, in others the tattoo, in settings both ordinary and extraordinary, where the result can be a celebration of the eroticism of body art, or the unexpected, even jarring juxtaposition of the sacred and the profane and often times the mundane, where in a world where a cigar is just a cigar, sometimes a tattoo is just a tattoo... And sometimes a tattoo is a personal symbol that borders on the profound.
